I Can Be ... (Message To All Terrorists)

I Can Be ...

I can be giddy, or patient, or kind,
A lawyer, a teacher, observant, sanguine.
Or maybe a doctor, or Muslim, a priest,
A painter, a dreamer, a democrat, obese.

I can sing songs out loud in my car,
I can protest when my ideals feel scarred.
I can be educated or dumb as a fool,
I can be richer than Bill Gates - times 42!

Why do I say I can be all these things?
Cuz in my country, it's my freedom that rings.
Terrorists- you think that my freedom is bad,
Cuz I'm doing and thinking and being so glad,

That I'm an American who can be, think, believe,
Anything I want, I believe as I please!
Bin Laden - you coward! You will definitely pay,
For the American soul, you cannot take away!

I'm prouder than ever to be an American today,
Mr. Bush told all terrorists, Terrorism will NOT stay!"
The resolve of our country, the one I call home,
We shout from the rooftops, "Leave Our Freedom Alone!!!"
